The first public meeting for the La Porte County Comprehensive Plan took place on October 14, 2025, at the La Porte County Complex. The event featured multiple activity stations designed to engage the community and gather input.

Interactive Display
The interactive display gathered community input on the County, including what residents would like to change or preserve, what they value, the challenges they observe, and the opportunities they envision for La Porte.
Prioritization
Using the key takeaway board- which displays all the highlights from the Existing Conditions chapters- as a reference, participants allocated three mock dollars to indicate the priorities they believe the County should focus on.
